NF/  Hey guys howls things?

Pieces/  Yeah good thanks.

NF/Good Stuff, So who are your influences musically?

B/ For me it would probably be The Wildhearts, and The Ramones.

Jak/  Mine would be Blink 182 and Bowling for Soup.

J/ I like a mixture of Indie and bands like The Libertines, and some punk like The
Clash.

NF/ Wicked, I heard you’re a fan of Pete Doherty too (to Jay)

J/ Yeah, I like his lyrics and songwriting.

NF/ Cool, so how’s the New Year been so far for you?

B/ It’s been good, we played the New Years bash, that was a bit of a laugh, we’re
playing tonight (Feb. 23rd) and headlining which is great.

NF/ Awesome, so you’re headlining obviously tonight, but if you had the choice where would you like to headline?
   
J/ Probably London somewhere.

B/ Yeah we mainly wanna get outta Bedford, like do a mini tour of Luton and London maybe

NF/ Cool, What about Craven fest how

B/   It was good was nice to play with bands like Wolf Law

NF/  So what are your plans for this year? I’m assuming expansion of the fan base is 1.

B/  Yeah but like getting out of Bedford is the main 1, I mean Bedford is a lovely place, but it’s a small town and we gotta get out to
bigger towns.

NF/ You could always play Moggerhanger (jokes)

Jak/ Yeah well we did and it sold out but there were more people from Bedford than any other town around there.

B/ Moving on.

NF/ If you had a choice of a band to tour with who would it be and why?

B/  Alive or Dead?

NF/   Either really.

B/ For me it would be The Wildhearts

Jay/ I’d say the Libertines or BabyShambles but on the other side of
things I’d say Paul Weller or something cos Paul Weller helps young
bands so it wouldn’t be like just 1 tour he’d probably help us out.

B/ Or Girls Aloud (Jokes)

NF/ This seems a general to me but who is the practical joker in the band
and what’s the best joke they’ve played?

Jak/ Well we were at a party and like I was a bit drunk, had a few to say
the least,

B/  Bollocks

Jak/ And basically Jay came up to me with this golden looking stuff and
told me it was Strongbow and so I knocked it back

J/ He spat it out like 10 mins after and he goes…

‘PHONE RINGS ‘

B/ Yeah 10 mins after Jak goes what was that goldie looking stuff I drank and Jays reply ah that was my urine.

Jak/The moral of that story don’t drink golden looking stuff put in front of you when you’re wasted.

NF/Laughs

NF/ When you go onstage what do you feel?

B/ If I’ve had a few beers its more cockiness than anything else, but I’m stone cold sober I get a bit nervous.

NF/  That probably doesn’t happen much right. (Jokes)

J/ When its kids out there you get excited, but sometimes you go out there and it’s a bunch of old men and that makes u nervous cos
they don’t react and just stare.

NF/  On the festival front which festivals would you like to play and why?

Jak/  Obviously Download, or maybe Reading

J/  I’d like to play Glastonbury

NF/  And why?

J/ Glastonbury and Reading I think the crowd there would respond more positively than Download, but realistically I’d say like
Bedford River Festival or some unsigned shows.

NF/  Cool, so tell us on your cd player or Ipod what are you listening to at the moment?

J/  Babyshambles

B/ Mainly The Wildhearts and Backyard Babies.

J/  Trashlight Vision, they’re cool.

B/  Motley Crue oh and Patchwork Grace they’re a good band.

NF/  Give us a Random Fact please

Jak/  Ants can carry 4 times there own body weight and live up to 5 years.

J/ Chihuahuas have big ears!!

NF/  Finally plans for this year to come?

B/  More gigs outside Bedford.

B/   Eat more, drink more and play more gigs!!
