We waited for a long time for the much anticipated release
of London After Midnights new album. And we weren’t
disappointed. In the same vein as you would expect
London After Midnight’s Violent Act’s of Beauty comes
off with the angst and darkness you were waiting for. I
like the album as a whole and find only one track that I
always find myself skipping on the trusty o’ Ipod.
Filled with songs of Political motivation that bring up the
more embarrassing concepts of American living, this
album will have you re-thinking what is important. Lost
love and haunting vocals are the typical of most London
After midnight songs and they still have the dark twist that
you love as an old school fan. But this album brings a
new sound, a new tone and brings it up the new century
so that new fans and old alike can enjoy the London After
Midnight phenomenon.
Check it out. It is one you should probably listen to on
their myspace or website. I wouldn’t say this is one for
the whole family. You have to have a spark in that Gothic
enriched past to really get this one.
