| NF/ How did you come up with the name of the band? Rebels/ Well, it’s the only name everyone liked, but we’re gonna change it. NF/ What you gonna change it too? Rebels/The CUNTS NF/That’s good, Where did you all meet? Rebels/ We all meet in school (Meady, Steve and Blackie) Dazzle lived opposite us and Jonny we stole from another band in London. NF/ Who are your influences musically? Rebels/ Collectively, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin, Megadeth and U2. NF/ That’s a good mix. You’ve toured with Gilby Clarke, what was he like? Rebels/ He’s a nice guy, but he’s been there and done it all before, so he’s not really up for the party side of things, he had his family over for ½ the tour, his little girl come on, he was saying I got this special guest for the Underworld (which is like the last biggest show on the tour) and we all thought fuck it Matt Sorum would be there or Slash and it his fuckin 8 year old daughter, brilliant!!!! NF/ What about Tommy Lee? Rebels/ Tommy’s like the complete opposite really, Christ how he could remember anything that nite, but he’s helped us out a great deal, he got us brides of destruction tour, cos he’s obviously pals with Nikki Sixx, um Tracii Gunns also. NF/ What band would you like to tour with? Rebels/ Velvet Revolver, collectively that’s the one we’d all agree on, 1st nite we all went out together was when Velvet Revolver played Hammersmith Apollo, yeh that’s wen Jonny joined our band. NF/ Can you tell us a tour story? Rebels/ Jonny tried to wee on us in the middle of the street and where he’s sorta like tensing his stomach muscles to force the piss out, he overdid it and shit his britches and that day he couldn’t find amy clean pants, so he had his dads pants on so he shit his dads pants. NF/ Nice, If you had the choice which festival would you play? Rebels/ Reading NF/ Why? Rebels/ Cos I went last year (Meady) for the 1st time and its miles better than all the other one’s, Ive been to basically, its a lot cosier, smaller and its none of this fuckin where’s so and so stage and where’s this and where’s that, like it saves our time, like V festival is fuckin massive, its just like a little thing like this, its like 2 hot dog stands and 2 beer tents, its nice n simple, its an all rock thing ain't it. NF/ What is a must have when you are on tour? Rebels/ Guess Who (game), a mountain bike, Poppers. NF/ What’s been your favourite place to play so far? Rebels/ Tell you where’s fuckin' cool, the cat house. NF/ What’s your favourite song to play? Rebels/ It varies from gig to gig NF/ What’s your favourite movie of all time? Rebels/ Karate Kid, Goodfellas, oh no you no what our fav film is, there’s a film coming out called Hell Bent For Leather, and we do a little cameo, role in it we filmed it about 2 weeks ago, so check it out. Rebels/ Led Zeppelin IV, Back in Black (AC,DC), Appetite for Destruction, Born To Run (Bruce Springsteen), Aerosmith Rocks as well. NF/ Who’s the joker in the band and what’s the best joke they’ve played? Rebels/ It was good April fools day when we told Jonny all the equipment had been nicked and he nearly started crying cos like his guitar he’d made or some bollocks had been stolen. NF/ What’s everyone’s favourite pancake? Rebels/ Chocolate, Lemon and Sugar, Maple Syrup, and Bacon. NF/ What can your fans expect from you in the New Year? Rebels/ Single out in January, January 16th actually, going to America to do a tour with L.A Gunns, in January hopefully , yeh so a single album, and another single hopefully. NF/ Thanx very much. |
