Although I am a newcomer to their songs it was an amazing to see Dee get the whole audience singing along with him to the
songs, and the audience’s response was loud enough to echo around The Pavilion.

I guess another first for me was to see a band supporting another receive a call for an encore and of course, Twisted Sister
responded and played yet another song for us.

I have to put a negative comment in here though and it’s about the security at The Pavilion. Me and a few others decided not to
sit in the seated area we originally were in, as the seats and the area around it was soaked in drinks. We moved to an aisle just
behind the seats and were moaned and groaned at by security to move back. We were not accepting this and I pointed out that
perhaps they should sort out the people that had moved from further back to the aisle and were causing problems where they
were, before telling us to move.

Soon after Twisted Sister, I seem to remember it was about 8pm, Alice hit the stage. He entered with the theme from ‘The
Phantom Of The Opera’ playing and Alice’s eyes on backdrop.

As expected his stage show was all I’d hoped to see and there was something for all fans, songs included ‘Schools Out,’ ‘Feed
my Frankenstein,’ ‘Under My Wheels,’ ‘Only Women Bleed,’ ‘Poison,’ ‘Eighteen’ and many more.

Eric Singer (from KISS) was on drums and performed an amazing drum solo, I was mesmerized as he played for what seemed
like fifteen minutes and the audience showed full appreciation for it.

Other additions to the show were Alice’s snake, his daughter, (on one occasion dressed as Paris Hilton) and of course, the
famous guillotine.
The only downside for me was that it came to an end far too early!
The weather was crap, but spirits were
high as we waited to go in to The Pavilion.
The doors finally opened at 6pm and we
made our way in. As I got myself seated, I
found myself amongst a mixture of young
and old fans.

I must admit I am a newcomer to the
world and music of Twisted Sister and
actually had only heard one of their songs
before. They hit the stage at 7 pm and right
from the start had both me and I think the
rest of the audience captured.

Dee Snider came running out onstage, full
head of blonde long curled hair, and
wearing low cut leather trousers, and some
kind of black and red fluffy thing over his
shoulders.
