(The Kill Me) -
Desktopplayer

Eurovision is always something that brings
talent out of the woodwork from all over
Europe. We have been shown the way to
bands like Lovex and Lordi to name a couple.
But this year highlight would have to be
coming out of Germany.
Cinema Bizarre are young, energetic with a
sound that borderlines anything but what you
expect. When I stumbled onto these guys I
expected to hear something more like Negative,
my bad. With a sound that ranges from
gothic love metal to Justin Timberlake this
album will leave you a little confused but in
that good way. I was pleasantly surprised to
hear the old European style integrated with the
familiar sounds of bands like Enuff Z Nuff.
( If you know who they are then you will get
the comparison.)
This album is a cross over of various styles but
they make it their own. Their image is glam all
the way and their sound is nothing you would expect. I love the integration of Pop, rock and the harmonies. They mask their
darker lyrics like Placebo. (upbeat tempo’s with an undertone of dark lyrical content) Some songs will remind you of Depeche
Mode, others of Timberlake. And when you think you have heard anything there comes in a bluesy riff that you didn’t expect.
If you can find this album you really should go check it out. If you are one for Eurobands and the sound they bring to the table
this one will not disapoint you.
This is one has something for everyone. I wouldn’t pass it up. Check them out in the Eurovison contest this year . I am sure you
will love the show.
