Dro- Deadstar Assembly written by Red
Red How did you get started and how did the band meet?

Dro Originally, Dearborn put together the first record with a producer down in south
beach, Florida. He then began calling up people he used to know we're good
musicians in the scene from around the time that Marilyn Manson was doing the
whole Spooky Kids thing. First he contacted Mubo, which used to be in a band
called Basic Humans, and Mubo knew me from the local exotic pet shop I used to
work at. Mubo and I used to talk about all things music, and he would always tell me
about this band that a friend of his was putting together. They came to one of my
band practices when I was in "DeSaaD" and the rest is history. After that, Cygnus
was approached at a local night club after one of his shows, and Jay was an old
friend of Dearborn's. When Jay left, Dreggs came in. That's basically the SHORT
version of the whole story.

Red Your favourite song that you have written and why?

Dro Dejected is one of the songs on the new album [UNSAVED] that came
together really nice. We've been closing off our recent tours with it and It's
definitely one of the most powerful songs in the set. It's one of my favories to play
live.
Red Your favourite venue to play?

Dro I really enjoy playing at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I also
really enjoyed the whiskey a-go-go in LA, Ca. Playing at the culture room is always
nice because we get to play for all of our close friends and family here at home.

Red Do you have any plans to tour the UK?

Dro We really do want to come out to the UK but it's not as easy as many people may think. It takes a lot to cross over that big pool of water
that separates the continents. Oh shit, that reminds me.. I have to get my passport renewed!

Red Name one band you would like to tour with?

Dro NIN. I've always admired all of Trent Reznors work and It would be an honor to travel with him. Jeordie White is also the reason I
began playing bass and he's the new bass player that's touring with Trent. It would be like hitting two birds with one stone!
Red What should fans expect from the your album? How would you describe it?

Dro They should expect the best. We've been putting a lot of hard work into everything and It will show in the end. The songs are a lot
darker and heavier than the first album and I believe that it will crush the first record when it's out in the fall.
Red What should fans expect at a DSA Concert?

Dro Mayhem! We tour like the bastard child of Motley Crue Circa '83!

Red Tell me a tour story...

Dro I will make it short by saying that the FBI ended up having to show up one of our hotels with the whole fire and police dept. Of  South
Carolina. $200 in fire works and a gallon of Tequila is where the night began going down  hill! We plan on showing some of the footage from
that night in our next DVD.

Red What are the band's musical influences and why?

Dro We are all influenced by different musicians. We all agree on 80's glam rock though!

Red What is the one CD you cannot live without while on the road?

Dro The Rammstein collection

Red Tell us a little about your Reptiles?
Dro Oh man, You would have to put a whole magazine out about this. I have way to many exotic pets.

Red Well we will have to do that some time.....Which is your favourite critter?

Dro My fox. I have an arctic fox named Spooky. He has one of the coolest personalities I have ever seen in an animal. He never fails to make
me laugh no matter how much of a bad mood I may be in.

Red What is the weirdest / strangest thing you have been sent by a fan?

Dro A fan gave me a teddy bear with it's face ripped off. In place of the teddy's face, was a piece of cloth with my face printed on it. It's
kind of creepy looking.

Red Now you are in a 'rock band' are all your schoolboy fantasies coming true?

Dro No. I do have a lot more fun than I thought I would ever be having though.

Red Tell us a random fact about anything...

Dro I'm currently working on a project called Hardcore Mayhem. It will
be tv-style episodes on the web that shows everything I've been involved in for
the past 3 years. It's kind of like Viva la Bam and Jackass, but with a bunch of
hot chicks. Check it out at HardcoreMayhem.com!

Red What do you do to relax?

Dro Drugs, actually, I skateboard a lot. I just moved in to an apartment that's right next to Pompano Indoor Skatepark. I usually go there to
get out all of my stress.

Red What is your favourite movie and what kind of movies do you like?

Dro I like a lot of horror movies. I just saw Devils rejects and Loved it!

Red Do you believe in ghosts and have you ever had a creepy experience?

Dro I used to believe in them until my parents had my room exorcised. After I saw what the priests that came to pray over my house did, I
lost all faith.

Red Which of the seven deadly sins do you most resemble and why?

Dro Pride. I have a lot of pride in all of the things I have accomplished. If I didn't put as much hard work into everything I've done, I don't
think I would have ever gotten where I am today. A lot of people thank GOD for their accomplishments, I personally think he has a grudge
against me.
