I had the opportunity to See these guys in Denver and in Salt Lake City. What a show Corey exhibits the same energy and stage
presence as he does in Slipknot.I just want to say that Stone Sour is a band you absolutely need to see live.
The band is astonishing. Corey Taylor's prodigious performance as well as his ability to captivate a crowd was
indelible .
In Denver the crowd sang along with every lyric and Corey actually stopped in the middle of his performance of Bother as the
crowd shocked him by singing his backing vocals. He stood there in Awe. In Salt Lake City he also had to stop as the crowd
would rise up in a cacophony of praise. If this band comes to your town it is one that you can not miss!!!!
I was amazed by the show as well as the sweet disposition of everyone on this tour. Corey had us rolling before the show with
his jokes and stories. It is a must see....
The story behind the trip......
Ok The drive out to Denver was ok with the exception of fog for 4 hours of the trip that made it impossible to see. We finally
arrive in Denver and can not check into our hotel for three hours (Not good I was on Sleep Dep and had been up for almost 24
hours) then we finally get in and get some rest... (I think it was two hours LOL )We wondered about Denver for the next few
hours. Checked out the Porn Shops. And found this cool Fetish Shop called the Crypt!!!(It is a must see if you are a
fetishist!!!) it rocked!!!! then we ate at the Denver Diner!! GOOD FOOD I might add and great service.. the best we had the
whole trip! After getting some sleep we headed over to the Fillmore to give Stone Sour the care pack we put together well unlike
usual we decide to give it to the Tour manager who never gives it to the band ARHHH this made me angry but any way moving
on. Went to the show hung out with ppl and then followed the boys down to SLC. Thank god For RAY the greatest Tour Bus
driver in the World. He watched out for us... For 6 hours we drove on what might as well have been an ice ring. we spun out
several times nearly died and saw some horrific wrecks involving Semis and thank GOD er what ever you believe in none of
us... Sinch got Stuck behind us in Denver and never made it to SLC. We arrived several hours later than expected but we were
safe again thanks to RAY and a special man ( U KNOW WHO U ARE \m/ ) who kept us alive while we were going through
hell!!!!!
um anyway moving on in four days I had 8 hours sleep nearly died and went to two great shows... Poor Chevelle had a toilet
back up and Pete and Sam had to get rid of their bags. So we get to SLC and we hang Corey, Find out about the Care Pack and
well he was bummed as were we(He contacted the Club and will have it sent to him)... Talked about Salem a little and hugged
and cried together....He kept his pic and put it with his pix of Griffin.... Corey really went out of his way for us as well as Ray
and Dan and the others....it was very cool of them all to make sure we were safe and covered the show We could have gotten
squares but we could buy tickets and did so no reason to get passes if we could buy tickets you know.... But if you can see one
show this is the one to see!!
