Getting to know Heidi
Name: Heidi, or Gypsy.

What you do for Noizefront: Gig reviews, CD reviews, photos
when I can get 'em, interviews when I weasel my way into 'em.

Age: just old enough, cherie.

Hair: Short, brown most of the time.
During the school year it has a tendency to... drift.

Eyes: 'storm coloured' according to a few people.

Tattoos, scars & distinctions: pierced eyebrow, ears.
I heal scars quickly, and have several more piercings and inserts planned.

Any addictions, smoking, drinking, etc: I am a total internet addict, second only to my deep, desperate love of chocolate.

Hobbies: distracting security guards, randomly turning up at gigs, stupidly-expensive-but-gorgeous-dolls, meowing at random
people, letting my college abuse me so I can play with their technology, and generally making it a point to make as many people
as possible smile, even if it's because they think I'm totally off my rocker.

Worst  Fear: the world losing love, in any way, shape, or form, on however small or large a scale.  Oh, and firetrucks.
Fucking firetrucks.

Worst trait about you: P-R-O-C-R-A-S-T-I-N-A-T-O-R.

What are your favourite bands : *deep breath* Placebo, Cranberries, Switchblade Symphony, Bad Jamie, Our Lady Peace,
Snow Patrol, Chemical Brothers, Angels and Airwaves, Tori Amos, NIN, A Perfect Circle, Dope Stars Inc, Moby, Aphex Twin,
Dope, Phish, Philip Glass, Benjamin Britten, Arvo Part... I can't remember all the names really, but I like anything I can sing to,
my tastes are all over the place.

What of the seven deadly sin do you think best represents you:  Like anyone else, I've got all sins in me, makes me a nice
balanced tasty human, but I think that sometimes I spend far too much time asleep, so Sloth.

Quote: "I think there are more dreamers today than ever before in the history of anything... but... they're so afraid, so many of
them. Afraid to lose all their 'manageable misery.' It's all just so... so... pathetic. Pathetic... and selfish. [...] I know a body's
chance of sinking their claws into a dream are fairly grim. But... not to try? To settle into the grey doldrums with nary a peep?"
Aaron A., "Serenity Rose"

I am a very determined person, and I see my dreams not as distant possibilities but the only future that I will accept for myself.
I spend as much time as I can working in both music and theatre venues because I believe that live art is the best way to touch
the people of the world and I have found that my skills are best suited helping the artists there.  I am fascinated by the dark side
of psychology and sociology, and am a patient, opinionated woman.
