| NF: What would you like to achieve in ten years time? Icy: In the next ten years? I don’t know what is happening tomorrow! Okay, here is what I hope. I hope in the next ten years that I play a lot of music, that I travel a lot, a lot of travel and meet a lot of people. To know a lot more and I hope to have a good deal with a cool people or something like that. Alex: And then we will clone him. Icy: To do a lot of interesting things, not just in music, but in all art. I love to write and play a lot of music and I like visual arts and like to put all of my experience in to everything that I do, so it is important for me to do with the band now Latexxx Teens or in the other band I have. All the experience of art, it is important that you do good with everything you can, that you say something with the music, with the picture or the cover. You can become great and very, very popular, but people don’t… Alex: Don’t remember you. Icy: …remember you because you have nothing to say. Latexxx Teens, we have a lot to say and I hope that in the next ten years people will understand it, our message, my personal message and the message of my band. People will understand what is important. Every time we write a song, we keep writing lyrics and we talk about the lyrics and what we want.what we want people to feel about our song. We try to have a particular message in our song, but it is about the art. We are artists and I think this is something I can say. I think every artistic impression is the impression of that particular moment. You can do a song that is just for fun but I am sure that in a few months, every one will have just forgot it, the song because it is important that there is feeling and philosophy. I hope that in the next ten years people will understand Latexxx Teens and will look at Alex as a good front man, front of the magazine or at least he has a lot of girls. [He laughs]. I want a lot of people to understand that we are an expression of the dark side of the circle. It is like a play, we create, we write a plot and everyone has these characters because we want to send to all the people this message. We take a picture and we don’t look like people that think about music, we look like cool guys, not me, I am not cool, but the others are cool and cool make up and a little bit girly. Alex: I don’t agree with Icy about first photo session because for that moment, I think those photos were perfect… it’s gone and we are not the same band. The next product will be more harder and the next image will be colder & darker. Personally, I know where I will be in the next ten years, because Latexxx Teens is my destiny and I think everyone can make their own destiny. I think in the next year I will have a family because I need to be a father and to make something unique with another person.I think Latexxx Teens will be around for as long as we want because Latexxx Teens are the perfect example of the world today. Probably if the world were good, Latexxx Teens doesn’t exist but at the same time, we are the things that people don’t want to see in the world. We embody all the bad aspects of life. People don’t want to see the aspects of pain but the world of today is a world of pain, a world where every man is ready to kill another in the name of the gods that they have made. When I see television news, I am without words for what I see. At the same time, the world today is broken from nature. Nature in the moment is rebelling against man and man don’t want to understand what happening. It is for this reason that I am the singer of Latexxx Teens. I want to make them see what is happening, I am not a messenger, we are not messengers, but we bring a message and it will exist until the world is like death. NF: What piercings and tattoos do you have? Alex: Ah, I am not pierced because I think that my father could kick my ass! [Everyone laughs.] Alex: He don’t like piercing and I don’t like to, not for a particular reason, I think that piercing and tattoos is our way of expression of our things and our life. I don’t embody the typical Rock ‘N’ Roll bsinger. People expect that the front man of a Rock ‘N’ Roll band is a bad guy, is an ignorant guy, that they have lots of time to fuck and to drugs, to party all the night and I say before that it is good for the Eighties. I think people today are interested in that person, but a man thinks about all things. About life, about love about sex, about all things and so I’m maybe in general, maybe I’m stupid because if I embody another way of life people would appreciate me more, but I don’t give a fuck what people think, about what they expect from me. All that I do, I do for myself. And that is the reason I don’t like Vince Neil. Personally, I don’t like Vince Neil, you listen to Vince Neil and it is like fuck a plastic doll, you know what I mean? He is a plastic doll for the camera, for the magazine. He was a singer in my opinion, maybe had a good voice, but definitely a singer for me, but he was a toy. For me Michael Monroe is a singer. Icy: For example, me and PP both have piercings, but for me, okay the experience of the pain. Sometimes I’m used to..sometimes I used to do something with these, do you know what these are? NF: The safety pins? Icy: Yes. Sometimes I put these in the skin, the name of this type of thing. There are some days when I was crazy and I used to take one and put it in my skin but it is just a personal experience of pain for personal reasons. I think it is better to have piercings than to do that. Plastic Poison for example has a lot of piercings on his face. When he was in England, he started to do piercings and he liked them. I think it looks good, he is my brother, but I can still think it looks good, I like the rings, but it is different, it can be about the physical pain. It is different from the tattoo because that is something you write on your skin and you have forever. NF: Where should we visit in Rome? Icy: I wasn’t born in Rome and after last year, I decided to come here because I love the city for the historical thing, you know? I think Rome is the city of my life and I needed to live here for a lot of years, maybe one day I live in London. In Rome there is a lot of magical place, you can think of people a thousand years ago. I don’t know, in Rome we have club, bars, good people. It is amazing to go all over Rome. Alex: There is one of the most important palace in Rome. There is a monument that is called ‘World War Death’ for all the soldiers that died in wars. Icy: It is very big, in the night it is amazing. Alex: I don’t like it. It is in the most important area of the Roman Empire. I do not get a good feeling of that part. I am a worship of Rome but I can’t live in another city. I be in London and I love London, I love the people of London. They are not prejudice, because in London, I can put the eyeliner on and in Rome you can’t because people will see you as different. Icy: But we do. We don’t give a fuck. Alex: I don’t like the Roman people, I don’t like the mood of the city because there is a lot of narrow minded people and I don’t like that. I have been in lots of different cities, Vienna, Prague, London, Budapest but the other city can’t give me the feeling I get in Rome. I get myself lost in little streets in the city, I love it, walking at night in the city. NF: What do you do to relax? Alex: It’s a problem because I do not relax! [Everyone laughs.] Alex: It is a problem because in the morning, I work and because I am a student of Law. I work from 8am to 2pm, then I go home and study because I hope to graduate next year and then I try to be an artist too. I try to do some Latexxx Teens work with Icy or alone and then I answer to the mail of Latexxx Teens and in the forum. I try to do all that and see my girlfriend. I need 48 hours for a day! 24 hours are not enough for me, so I am not more relaxed, I am stressed man! So on the weekend, I try to be home and have a bit of time for myself and in that moment, I play with my cat, I see movie and read some books. At this moment, I’m reading the story of Lestat the Vampire, the Anne Rice books and also ‘Queen Of The Damned’, and the books give me more relax from the stress. Icy: Depends on what we do tonight, now is relax for me. To go to practice with the band, to the gig, to travel with the band, for me is very relaxing. When I need to be more relaxed, maybe I go home and relax with my cat and two dogs.The animal are better than any kind of man! The song like fucking like animals! Alex: When we played in Venice we lived together in the same room for a couple of days…It wasn’t a nice experience…ahahaha I don’t know if I can live with him and Plastic Poison in the same house, with one or the other. [Everyone laughs.] Icy: I was here and Plastic Poison was on the other side. Alex: I was in the middle. Icy: He was in the middle and he was our victim. Alex: shit experience! :P Icy: We take naked pictures of him. Alex: I was afraid that they would put the pictures on the internet. Icy: We are rock ‘n’ roll. NF: What are your favourite movies? Icy: Tim Burton movies. NF: Have you seen Corpse Bride yet? Icy: No. I was touring at the time. Was it good? NF: Not what we were expecting but yes. Icy: And horror B movies. Alex: I love a lot of movies. Vampire movies, Queen Of The Damned, Interview With The Vampire. But The Devil’s Advocate is the best film of my life in my opinion because I love Al Pacino and I think it shows the real nature of Lucifer. What Lucifer wants, Lucifer is the real part of man, every one of us has a devilish part. You can’t kill the instinct and one time the instinct will come on again. I think that film changed my vision on life. Icy: Kubrick, I love Kubrick. Alex: Clockwork Orange is another good film. NF: Okay, we have some rapid questions now. We will give you two options and you need to pick one option or the other. Okay? Icy: Okay. NF: Sex, drugs or Rock ‘N’ Roll? Icy: Just one? NF: Just one. Icy: Sex. Alex: Rock ‘N’ Roll. NF: Deathstars or InHumanDolls? Icy: Deathstars or Dope Stars? NF: Deathstars. Icy: That is difficult because they are both friends of ours. Alex: In this moment, I think Deathstars, because I think they are a band in all the aspects. InHumanDolls is an underground band, like maybe if you ask me if I prefer Murderdolls or Latexxx Teens, I am the singer of Latexxx Teens, but I would say Murderdolls, you know what I mean? NF: Vodka or Absinthe? Icy: Absinthe. Alex: Hard question. Today the Absinthe is not the real Absinthe, so I choose Vodka, NF: Okay, Tim Skold with KMFDM or Tim Skold with Marilyn Manson? Alex: Tim Skold. Icy: Absolutely. It is because of Shotgun Messiah. Alex: Just Tim Skold, any Tim Skold. Tim Skold with Marilyn Manson that should have happened many years ago but Marilyn Manson was afraid of Tim Skold… what Manson is today, Tim Skold was in the Nineties. NF: Okay, we have some Noizefront questions now. Which of the Seven Deadly Sins do you think best represents you? Icy: Oh god, just one? NF: You can pick one or two. Icy: I think that most people have vice. I love vice. Alex: The problem is that I don’t know how the Seven Deadly Sins translates from English. Vanity is my favourite of the seven, because I think a man can give a message to the others if he don’t like himself. And I am a worshipper of myself. NF: Do you believe in ghosts? Icy: No. Alex: Yes and no. But I think if ghosts do exist, then I don’t think they care or are interested in us. NF: If a fan was to bring you a care pack, what could you find inside that would make you smile? Icy: Very tough question. Maybe a book. Alex: About myself, I love the little things. I don’t care how much is the cost of things. I like the things with the meaning behind. You could give me a simple piece of paper with good words and for me that is special and the person is special. That is personal. It is a great present. NF: What was your opinion on how Hurricane Katrina was handled? Alex: I think Bush is a fucking asshole! He was scared about what would happen in the US, but he knew that Katrina or another hurricane would hit the US and would happen. Bush is much more interested in power and being the head of the US because he has the most power in the world. But he doesn’t care about the real people… that’s matter. Bush, Berlusconi, Blair and other man related in government don’t give a fuck about all day problem of pour & middle class…They’re only able to be on camera for tellin’ a lot of shit and then came back to theirs plastic & money kingdom, so far from this shit called world!!! Icy: The problem is that mankind is very, very big, there is a lot of people in the world. We are in the hold of the natural world, with the animals, with the whole world, so the hurricane too and HIV, you know? It is a defense mechanism of the world, because the man is a strange animal, we don’t have a natural habitat like the other animals. We need to understand that we need a different style of life. |
