| NF: What are you up to these days? Dizzy I am working on the Drastics (myspace.com/drastics) and some other shit. NF What is your one true passion? Dizzy Living life on my own terms. NF What did you want to be when you were younger? Dizzy What I am now...myself. NF Do you have any tattoos or piercings? Dizzy No ink. Had a nose ring 10 years ago. Me and the girlfriend at the time did it with a sewing needle. Hurt like fuck. NF Would you consider yourself a modern day Sid Vicious? Dizzy Yes and no. Yes, cuz I live it balls to the wall and don't give a fuck. No, because he's fucking dead and I'm not. So, I win. NF Where do you see yourself in ten years time and what would you like to have achieved? In ten years, I will probably be married or divorced. Hopefully with a kid or two, to continue the legacy of fucking shit up and looking good doing it. Who the fuck knows. With any given luck, I'll be loaded, retired and kicking back. NF How did you get started in the music industry? Dizzy I have been playing in bands since middle school. I didn't get serious about it until about 1992 or so. It's been a hell of a ride since then, that's for fucking sure. NF What are you musical influences? Dizzy All sorts of shit. Heres the big ones: Motley Crue, Sex Pistols, Prince, The Cure, Slayer, Faster Pussycat and life. NF Do The Drastics plan on recording any time soon? Dizzy We have some shit already done and out there for people to hear. Check out myspace (myspace.com/drastics). We will be recording over Christmas, for release in early 2006. NF Your favourite song that you have written and why? Dizzy I live and die to the lyrics to REFUSE TO ROT. It's my personal 'fuck you' to the world, and my personal place to go to remind my self that I am better than the shit I deal with, and that I will overcome. It's something we all can learn and live "I REFUSE TO ROT / I REFUSE TO DIE / I REFUSE TO FLY YOUR FLAG / OR EVEN FUCKING TRY." NF Your favourite song to perform? Dizzy All of them. Shitty answer, I know, but it's true. Being on stage is like fucking. It's just....good. No matter what. NF What made you decide to cover 'So What'? Dizzy Jinxx and I, and the players we had in the band at the time were dicking around with it at practice and it just fucking OWNED, so we went with it. I know Metallica did it prior, but ya know what? Fuck them. With a brick. We do it better. Only cuz we dont have Lars Ulrich. He'd fuck up a wet dream, given the chance. Shut up and go away, tennis playing loser. Oh, and learn how to keep a beat. Hack. NF How would you describe your music? Dizzy Loud, snotty, good to fuck or snort to. NF Do you have any future tour plans in the works? Dizzy Actually, theres demand in the UK from what I hear, so we are working that angle, and we will need all the help we can get. NF Where would you most like to perform? Dizzy Already played hollywood, which was a dream of mine since I was a kid. So I guess on the moon, or in Angelina Jolie. NF Name one band you'd like to tour with? Dizzy Any band Nikki Sixx is in. Joey's my family, man. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for that kid, and I know he would say the same. 13 is a cool motherfucker. People seem to think we should hate each other, but it ain't like that. I think his album is one of the best albums of the last year. He's a witty, talented fucker, that's for sure. I'd like to do a W13/Drastics tour of Europe. It would one big glam rock chicken eating festival! NF: Vanilla / Lemon? Dizzy: Fuck them both. Up the ass. (laughs) Dizzy: Fuck them both. Up the ass. (laughs) NF:Which of the Seven Deadly Sins best represents your personality and why? Dizzy Pride or Lust. I subscribe to both. Without either, you are devoid of character. Fact. Fuck it if the bible doesn't like it. NF If a fan were to bring you a carepack, what could you find inside that would make you smile? Dizzy Anything a fan would present to me would put a smile on my face. But...let's just say a shit load of MAC makeup, some blow, some porn, chicken nuggets, pasta, more porn and makeup, nail polish, lots of iced tea, more porn, make up and blow, a note from Nikki Sixx saying he wants to put a band together, and lets not forget the porn, makeup and blow. NF Do you believe in ghosts and have you ever had any creepy experiences? Dizzy Sort of. My mom just died in August 2004 and the other day when I came home I could have SWORN I heard her say 'hello' in the silly little way she used to say it. Freaked me out. Sure ghosts exist. A body may die, but a spirit is eternal. NF Tell us a random fact about anything... Dizzy I am scared of escalators / moving stairs. Stairs don't need to be moving. NF What was your opinion on how Hurricane Katrina was handled? Dizzy Poorly, but what do you expect with that fucking twat in office? NF How do you feel about the Tripp Eisen allegations? Dizzy I feel better about it than Tripp does, I can tell ya that. It's not my place to talk about that. whatever happened, happened. It will all work itself out through the system. NF If you could talk to Casey Chaos regarding the treatment of Jinxx whilst on tour in Europe, what would you say to him? Dizzy Ya know, there's a RIGHT WAY to treat people and handle things, and there is a WRONG way. I guess this explains why every line-up of that band quits after going on the road. Jinxx is my little brother, and if you fuck with him, you fuck with me, and thats not good. Just sucks that an ego had to ruin a band I had so much respect for. Again, there's the right way and the wrong way. NF What do you do to relax? Dizzy Play with my dog. Take walks. Drink. Smoke Pot. Write songs. Fuck. NF What is your favourite movie and why? Dizzy Right now, Team America, cuz it's just funnier than an old lady getting hit by a fed-ex truck. NF What is the one CD you can't live without? Dizzy There's a few: The first two Motley albums, The Cure's ' Disentegration', Prince's 'Purple Rain', Slayer 'Reign In Blood', and currently the new A7X. NF What one CD should never have been made? DIizzy Anything that has to word CREED on it. NF Who are you favourite, current and old school, bands? Dizzy Current: Aveneged Sevenfold, Wednesday 13 (yeah, for real), Hollywood Undead (even though I KNOW it's a marketing jerk off, I just like it), Trivium. This band from Des Moines called On A Pale Horse. They fucking rawk!!!! I've loved 69 Eyes for fucking years, I hope they don't become the next HIM. Meaning, I want total success for them, but I don't want them to be a trend. This band has been tits hot since they were a sleaze rock band up til now. Plus I think Jussi, Jyrki and I could compete for coolest looking dudes with cool hair, (laughs) . LOVE that band a fucking lot. |

SlipKnot / Stone Sour?
Now, THAT is a loaded question. Which one of my friends do I
like more, lol? In all seriousness, I'll go with Stone Sour on the
music and melodies, as I am way more of a straight out rock
dude.
That said, I LOVE SlipKnot, as friends or family and as a great
band. And SlipKnot has the best live show since KISS owned
shit back in the day. There isn't a show on the planet that has
more drive, anger, blood sweet and tears behind it, and I love,
love, love all of those guys. Great people, killer band. That goes
for both bands.
