History and Thanks
Noizefront.Net is a monthly webzine dedicated to music, those who love it, and those behind it. Started in 2001 by Shalom,
Noizefront was originally a fansite dedicated to all the musicians who rallied their support for the injury of her son, Salem Corey
Hogan, who was shaken by his father, and ultimately died of the injuries he sustained by him. Although Salem was reduced to
below-vegetative state by his injuries, the one thing that would always calm and soothe him was the sounds of various types of
music. He was particularly a big fan of Slipknot and could always be heard cooing to the sound of Corey Taylor's voice. After
Salem's death in 2002, it became evident to Shalom, myself, and all those who had been involved, that Noizefront would continue
with each issue being another dedication to the little boy who loved music so much and would never live to see his favorite musician.

As word of Salem's cause grew, Shalom began to receive an outpouring of support
from musicians worldwide. Most of these musicians even took the time to sign a petition
that would allow Salem's murderer to be tried for homicide and sent to prison. Musicians
would also provide Shalom with content for the website, including photos, interviews,
recent news, and tour information.

Today, Noizefront is far from that small fansite started only 5 short years ago.
Our contacts, status and popularity have increased ten-fold. We have traveled to
review the performances of artists such as Slipknot, Nine Inch Nails, Placebo,
Dope, Dope Stars Inc., Rachel Stamp, Pigface, Nocturne, Slipknot, Stone Sour,
and many more. We have interviewed musicians such as Ben Graves (Murderdolls),
Jonne (Negative), Grace Khold (Dope Stars Inc.), Dizzy Draztik (The Draztiks),
O (Undercover Slut), RS (ElektraKill), David Ryder-Prangley (Rachel Stamp), and
more is on its way. We've worked with the publicists of record labels such as
Virgin Records, Roadrunner Records Europe, AstralWerks, and Atlantic.

Last year, Noizefront went international and positively took Europe by storm. We were invited to cover performances by Negative,
Live 8, Dope Stars Inc., My Sixth Shadow, Latexxx Teens, and The 69 Eyes, just to name a few. We were also introduced as VIP
guests to Club Zoe (Milan, Italy) by Dope Stars Inc. and Sarah to cover the record release party for Dope Stars Inc.

This year shows no signs of slowing as we collaborate with bands like The Genitorturers, Wednesday 13, The Drastiks, and many
more for special promotions, tours, interviews and more. With Noizefront now located stateside and in Europe, we will continue to
thrive and expand, bringing you more coverage and more information.

We have experienced tremendous success and have had many wonderful opportunities, but we will never forget how Noizefront
came to be and the meaning behind it. Every aspect of Noizefront is dedicated to Salem Corey Hogan. Even our mascot, Damian, is a
child's rubber duck with a hint of mischief, just like our little boy. We will never forget you. We will also never forget the beautiful
souls of the musicians who have supported us all these years and, especially, thank you to Corey Taylor. Without your help, Salem
would have had no justice. It is with your help, that Salem will continue to have a voice.

We know there are other webzines you could read. What makes Noizefront unique is that we are completely non-profit. All traveling,
gigs, CD's, etc are purchased out of our own pockets. We refuse sponsorship in order to provide you with information free of
censorship and corporate politics. Also, though we have grown and do work with some of the biggest signed bands of today, we
recognize that those musicians also had to start somewhere. We help to promote and gain recognition for unknown, unsigned bands
with big potential, from all over the world. Noizefront works as an online outlet for the signed to meet the unsigned, to celebrate the
cultural diversity and tie it together in a universal language. Music.

Salem Corey Hogan
July 2000 to June 2002
Noizefront would like to honour Jyrki 69 for his work involving
child rights. We too have in our personal lives fought to protect
our futures by fighting to  keep Salem's murderer in Prison.
We have had the help Of Bikers against Child Abuse, Many
countless musicians that signed the Petition to keep him in
prison and it worked though his sentence was so short originally
it was only to be a mere 18 months. Thank you so much all of
you, Dizzy Draztik, Corey Taylor, Charles, Sarah Dope, Dope,
Scotty, and many many more who aided

us through all this turmoil.
And thank you Jyrki 69 for fighting for those whose voice falls
on deaf ears. You Mr. 69 are one of the Beautiful.
