| NF/ Hey Guys how you doing? PG/ Great thanks NF/ You recently visited Germany to play some shows over there what was that like for you? Tori/ It was just a brilliant experience for us, I mean we’ve never played outside the UK apart from Wales and Scotland. Joey/ Scotland’s in the UK Tori/ Anyway having never played outside the UK we didn’t know how it would go down and like the Pleasures are a really good European, Euro Pop band and we didn’t know how it would go down with them either. You’ve got an Ice Cream (points to door of van where van driver is) VD/ Yeah got it from shop round corner Tori/ I want an Ice Cream.Yeah it was brilliant it really was. Joey/ Yeah and all the venues put really nice food on for us and free beer. Danny/ Sausage Joey/ Got Sausage Danny/ Big Sausage Joey/ (laughs) Crip/ Had some pizza aswell. Joey/ Yeah we did actually that was cool. NF/ Ace, did the fans respond positively to you in Germany? Joey/ Oh yeah, we sold an average of 1.5 cds a night (laughs) Tori/ Yeah there were people that travelled like 3 hours to see us which is good, and like everyone seemed to enjoy it, and I think the novelty of being a British band aswell helped, like when bands come over here its like they’re from America or like they’re from Germany, Joey/ Yeah but you know like British people have a bad reputation for like drinking or bad behaviour and stuff. NF/ Yeah Joey/ That was us. (laughs) We held that reputation. NF/ Fair do’s laughs, so do you have any plans to tour in any other countries? Joey/ Well we’d all love to play Japan, if its possible, but nothing in the pipeline at the minute even though we’d like to. NF/ You’ve got a tour coming up with Robin Black, are you looking forward to that? PG/ Yeah definitely. Crip/ It’ll be nice to play with someone who’s slightly smaller than me. NF/ Awww On the tour front, you’re a band that seems very active, are you a band that enjoys to be out on the road? Crip/ It’s the only place to be aint it. Tori/ The only way you can get music out there other than myspace and stuff is if you are constantly touring and like if there’s a demand to come back to this city or this city we try and do it so loads of people see us. NF/ Wicked, you recently won awards at the Pure Rawk awards that included best album was that a surprise? Tori/ Yeah we were nominated in like every single category, and like stupid things and we didn’t expect it like just being nominated was good enough but the fact we won some aswell, was really nice. NF/ Well congratulations. Tori/ Aww thank you. NF/ You were nominated best Axe Man (to Crip) was that a big surprise and how did it make you feel? Joey/ It was a bigger surprise to us. Crip/ Well considering I cant really play it must mean everyone else was really bad too (jokes) I don’t know really but like 15,000 people voted soo.. NF/ Awww With the cover of the album who actually came up with that idea? Tori/ It was me and a guy called Daz from DIP, um he’s like our main man when it comes to artwork and stuff, um basically we sat down and said the albums called Milk Teeth and we want something that’s quite immature and quite child like, but also a bit fucked up at the same time and something that will reflect our music and that’s what he came up with and we’re all really happy with it. Joey/ You can get toothpaste called Milk Teeth. Tori/ It just tastes like sweet and milky. NF/ Going towards what you were saying about The Pleasures, you toured with them quite a bit, are they a band you enjoy touring with? Tori/ Yeah they’re such a fun band to tour with and their stage show is brilliant. Crip/ Great band and friendly people too its all good. Joey/ And they’ve got the power to cure lesbians. NF/ Wicked, (laughs) You’re a very Creative band, I think appearance wise.. Tori/ Aww thank you NF/ Is this a mix of your own creativity or did you decide on a particular look? Joey/ We tried to do something a bit different, we haven’t decided on anything really, we’ve never talked about it we just did it. Tori/ You look at other bands and stuff that are out at the minute and there’s a lot of bands trying to do something a bit different which is, I mean I don’t know about you guys (looks at the others) but I really admire that, and its nice that you’ve (looks at me) have picked up on that and commented on how we look. Like people don’t normally take that into consideration and its nice people know we make the effort on stage which is cool. NF/ Yeah Id say that you’re all really different onstage, if that’s intended I don’t know, Where would you like to see yourselves in the year or next year? Joey/ In bed (laughs) Tori/ We’d like to get the name out there a bit more. Crip/ Yeah and get some big tour spots too, we’d also like to see ourselves in this van. NF/ Lastly any final thoughts.
