Acey Slade-Trashlight Vision, Interview by Stephanie
NF:  Your favorite song that you have written and why
AS:  Black Apples, because it's got a cool story to it and I didn't think anyone would like it. I thought it was too...outside the box for
TLV.

NF:  Your favorite venue to play?
AS:  In the UK-Wolfrun Hall
In Japan-Shibuya AX
In the States...any House of Blues

NF:  Your favorite song to perform?
AS:  Maybe Black Apples or Dead Waves...sometimes Allergic
to You.

NF:  Favorite city to perform in?
AS:  I know it's not a CITY but anywhere in Scotland is always
awesome.

NF:  What is the one thing that always goes through your head
before you go on stage?
AS:  Recently a Beer bottle..ha,ha..

NF:  What is one of your all-time favorite bands?
AS:  Trashlight Vision, followed by the River Bottom Nightmare
band.

NF:  When was it you realized you wanted to be a musician?
AS:  When I found out I could use my organ.

NF:  What was the first song you learned to play?
AS:  I think it was....either Breakin' the Law or Blitzkreig Bop.

NF:  Name one band you would like to tour with
AS:  The Wyld Ratz.

NF:  What should fans expect from you in the future?
AS:  How the fuck should I know? What do I look like Nostradomas? ha,ha...

NF:  How do you want to be remembered?
AS:  That I rocked like fuck.

NF:  Tell me a tour story
AS:  When we were in NOLA, I put three 'X's on Marie Laveau's tomb, for respect, but I got caught by a tour guide. She told me it
was bad luck-wouldn't you know it...we blew out a tire on the Van and Trailer at the same time going about 75 miles an hour on the
Florida Turnpike? We get it fixed and end up in a traffic jam, why? A quadrupal homicide on the freeway...after that we blew a
Universal Joint..then...well we got to North Carolina..and we know what happened there...point is...dont anger Marie!

NF:  What is one CD you cannot live without while on the road?
AS:  Lars Frederickson and the Bastards, 'Viking'.

NF:  Your current favorite band/songs?
AS:  'This is Halloween' Danny Elfman.

NF:  What is the weirdest/strangest thing you've ever been given from a fan?
AS:  I'll save that for the book.

NF:  What is the one thing you dread about touring?
AS:  Not sleeping..but that's about it.

NF:  What do you do to relax?
AS:  Take massive amounts of Colerite.

NF:  Which of the seven deadly sins do you most resemble and why?
AS:  Resemble? Gluttony.

NF:  Do you believe in ghosts and have you ever had a creepy experience?
AS:  See question #12.

NF:  What was your best Halloween?
AS:  Playing with Alice Cooper in New York city.

NF:  What scares you? Is there any film, story or place that frightens you?
AS:  The Barbwire scene in Suspira gets me every time.

NF:  What is the one thing on the road you cannot live without?
AS:  Colerite...but not for me. I don't want to say who it's for because I don't want to embarrass Steve....Doh!

NF:  What was the last thing you heard or read in the news that pissed you off?
AS:  What pisses me off is what you are NOT reading in the papers and that is the condition of New Orleans, LA. The lack support
that city has gotten is disgrace to america and americans.

NF:  If a fan were to bring you a care pack while you're on the road, what could you find inside that would make you smile?
AS:  VocalZones, Colerite, a pound of coffee AND a Starbucks card, new socks, a pack of gum and a new I-Pod (mine is like from
1911!).

NF:  And finally, if you were Jack Skellington, describe an average day for you
AS:  Well..I would imagine that Jack does not sleep. Changes his clothing everyday, except his lucky underware, I think he tries to go
out and get Bitches-but Sally keeps him down (just kidding!).
