Noizefront: Hey there how are you guys? Vains: Good, its fucking cold though, Noizefront: (laughs), Is this your 1st trip to the UK and if so how has it been for you? Vains: No its not the 1st trip we were here like 2 and half years ago, we did a few shows here in London, that was fun, a lot of fun, this time around been fun as well, though cold. Noizefront: Awww, have the UK fans made you feel welcome? Vains: Oh yeah sure they’ve been really good Noizefront: What’s it been like to work with Bam? Vains: He’s been really cool since the day we’ve met him, he’s helped us out a lot with tours and he’s helped us get our name out there. Noizefront: Who has been your biggest influence and why? Vains: Errr oh that’s hard, anything from like Elton John to Slayer. Noizefront: That’s a pretty good mix. Vains: Yep. Noizefront: Are you surprised by your success? Vains: Yeah we are pretty surprised, we never expected anything to happen, we just started playing together for fun, cos we were sick and tired of what we were doing and other bands we were in previously and things started to happen really fast so it was cool. Noizefront: If you could tour with any band who would it be and why?. Vains: Avenged Sevenfold would be good, GNR would be awesome right now. Noizefront: Cool. We heard you toured with Wednesday 13 how did that come about and why? Vains: I think Wednesday liked what we were doing, and he asked if we wanted to go on tour and we did and it was a fun tour. Noizefront: It would have been better if you guys had toured with him in the UK. Vains: Yeah Noizefront: Yeah well I was there and it was like so unfair you weren’t supporting him here too. Vains: That would have been good too, no that was a great tour he’s a super cool guy, got a great fucking voice as well. Noizefront: Do u believe in ghosts, and if so do you have any experiences you can tell us about? Lizzy: In ghosts? Ah well im a ghost hunter so yes. Noizefront:Ah cool, so you have some ghostly experiences? Lizzy: Nah well my problem is I believe in it so much and I wanna see it, but I totally believe in it. (Smile)(Lizzy walks away for a moment) Noizefront: Awwww Which of the seven deadly sins best describes you and why? Vains: Errr, (vains think for a moment) hmm not sure, maybe a mix of them all. Noizefront: What has been the biggest highlight for 2008 for you? Vains: Probably, well we recorded the new album. Noizefront: Have you enjoyed playing with Viking Skull? Vains: Oh yeah they’re the best guys ever. Noizefront: Cool, do you have any tour stories you can tell us about? Vains: Err they have a break-dance competition, that’s pretty awesome and everyone got so drunk no one could remember anything. Noizefront: What are your plans for Xmas so far? Vains: We’re gonna spend it with friends and family Noizefront: If you had to describe your music in 3 words what would they be? Vains: Rock and Roll!!!!! Noizefront: What have you got planned for 2009? Vains: We’re releasing a new album, its gonna be fucking awesome, touring.. Noizefront: Who if anyone is the joker in the band? Vains: That’d be Jackie. Noizefront: What has been your favourite venue to play and why? Vains: House of Blues, that’s awesome. Noizefront: Do you have any rituals you do before going onstage?. Vains: We listen to Barcelona, by Freddie Mercury, we kill a goat sometimes (laughs), blood all over the dressing room (shhhh). Noizefront: Nah bacause now we wanna see. (laughs) Vains: Ah we’ll have to find a goat later. Noizefront: Is there anything bout the UK you’re gonna miss when you go home? Vains: The beer, (laughs), The people.
