| WOLF LAW CATCH UP INTERVIEW With Jaxxi D and Lizzie ESQUIRES, BEDFORD, 7th NOV NF/ How have you all been? SW/ Bit better NF/ Bit better whys that? SW/ Just bit better than we last were. JNE/ Is this the Interview? NF/ Yeah it is (laughs) So, what have you been up to during this year? RW/ We lost our drummer, we’ve done the new recording, and shortly after he joined, and he being lee (points to lee) NF/ Yeah ah hello, (Jaxxi says to lee) RW/ We recorded an EP aswell, with Nick Mailing and Russ Russell. NF/ How did you manage to find them then? SW/ Through contacts NF/ Cool, So when you were searching for your new drummer, did you go through lots of people or was it an instantaneous yes that’s who we want? RW/ Well originally we asked Fergus but he couldn’t do it cos he had other commitments so he recommended Lee, so I gave Lee a ring and he came down. LW/ Yeah I was on holiday at the time, so I was like I remember seeing them once before live and I thought I’d give it a go, but I’d only seen em once so, we had a jam and after that we had another 1 and another 1. NF/ And it clicked? LW/ Yeah NF/ What’s it been like for you (Lee) to join the band? LW/ Oh yeah its been brilliant cos I’ve had a couple of years off, cos I used to be in a local band, and that was brilliant cos we were gigging a couple of times a month and then it just stopped, and I’ve been waiting to get into another band ever since. NF/ Having a new wolf in the pack (Jaxxi and Lizzie smile) did it bring a fresh sound to your music? SW/ Definitely, RW/ Definitely because Phil brought a very individual sound to the band, which we appreciated but Lee’s more suited to our style, not taking anything away from Phil, it brings new dynamics to the band as well. NF/ With the new EP out have the fans given you a positive response to the songs played at the shows so far? JNE/ My dad liked it, SW/ Yeah that’s who we’re trying to please. JNE/ No my dad was singing along. RW/ We haven’t had a chance to get up there live much but we’re playing like London tomorrow so we’ll wait from feedback on the myspace page. NF/ That gig tomorrow (in London) are you looking forward to that? SW/ Yeah RW/ Yeah NF/ How have fans responded to the newest member of the band? LW/ Well we’ve only played the 1 gig together so far, so I think tonight will be the decider, SW/ Well slowly but surely people will learn about the new drummer LW/ We’ve just been trying to get the set list down or I’ve been trying to get the set list down. NF/ What do you have planned for the Christmas period? SW/ I think we’ll be playing down here actually, its not finalised yet but I think we are. RW/ Yeah and then we’re playing The Pitz in January SW/ Get the artwork for the cd finished off. RW/ Yeah and send off the EP to radio stations, record companies etc. NF/ Is there anything going into the new year that you have planned in addition to what you’ve already said? SW/ Gigs in London more. NF/ You really wanna get up there don’t you, SW/ Well that’s where the scene is so that’s where we wanna be. NF/ Awesome and finally relying on the facts you guys really do give me random final thoughts, would you care to leave me with 1. JNE/ Oh god (Wolfs laugh) JNE/ Well if a weird man comes up to you and offers you some sweets, they always say don’t accept sweets from strangers, but I aint got much money, so Im thinking ah fuckin free sweets man yeh!!
